Bitmap brothers at their best. I found a site where you download it from, but I cant get the bloody thing to run under xp. I have no experience in getting dos programs to work, anyone care to help?

I'm sure I have an megadrive emulator version which runs fine under xp. I'll check when I get home, and post back here.

If you need to emulate DOS, then use DosBox. DosBox, along with the
D-Fend front-end will emulate pretty much all aspects of DOS enabling an old
game to run in XP.

DosBox and D-Fend can be downloaded from .

Alternatively, if you get games that will work, but can't detect a soundcard,
then use . It's basically a soundblaster emulator.

I've used them both myself to play older games like Dune 2, Gods, Magic
Pockets and Tie-Fighter.

There's also a dedicated emulator for SCUMM based games from LucasArts
such as Monkey Island, Sam & Max and Day of The Tentacle.



It also handles a few non-Scumm games such as Beneath a Steel Sky. Full

If you havent already got it and played it then definitely get Beneath a Steel Sky from the Home of The Underdogs - the best click-and-point ever (imho obviously) - its so good it feels a bit short, but its free so grab a copy anyway
