Gun, Please don't take everything I say so literally, by couple of years I dont mean 2 EXACTLY, 5 years would fit 'a couple'. As for the Davina McCall comment, she is exactly the type of people, that would inspire people to buy Burberry, these are the people , the 'chav' aspire too to. TV Presneters for non-descript reality shows. Half of the reality show contestants have gone on to front crap tv shows on obscure channels. Their desire is to become 'famous' or their definition of 'famous' by any means. Once fame was a byproduct of talent, now it's the goal itself.

Hence the increasing feminity of men in a round about sort of way. They have to become duller / blander (not saying women are bland or dull) to appeal to the widest market possible for tv. Look at boy bands, preened / over made up and essentially 'sexless' with no hint of danger or trouble to appeal to a wide demographic of young girls to old grannies.

grrr but the only article that you put up that I can access (the 2nd doesnt work on my computer??) states that yes Burberry is declining in sales in the clothes divisions. and the article that you had up from 2003 pointed out that Burberry was making great profits due to it's link with flim stars etc! so I was right!

I just think personally that everything these days seems to be encouraged except being white, christian/catholic or straight! I have nothing against homosexuals and they should be able to come out without discrimination - but I dont think it should be encouraged to those at an impressionable age - especially girls in the teens who are easily manipulated and with the new obsession with girl/girl kissing girls are encouraged and egged on to kiss each other by older males for cheap thrills. To me this isnt right and it is because of porn and cheap newspapers who have models saying how they 'fantasise' about girls etc etc. Every tv show these days has to have a bloody lesbian or gay kiss and I just personally like girls to be girls, feminine and girly! yin and yang and all that!

I'm not saying I'm right, but I do worry about men and women becoming more and more alike. anyway I had my say! I really have nothing to back any of this up it's all just personal opinion - tho Burberry I was right about! I think!
