I can connect to CS and get as far as the inro screen (saying map name) but when i try and join a team or press tab my net connection gets disconnected?????

Dunno why coz i have not done anything.

any ideas? or just reinstall HL and CS?

That's how I sorted out a problem I was having with CS (actually I went a little further and reinstalled windows as well ).

Before, when I tried to connect to a server, it would always take two attempts - now it always does it first time, seems speedier too.

It's worth a shot, but make sure you backup your saves and config files first though .

I tried reinstalling CS but no joy.

dunno what the fukc is up as it was fine earlier on..

but it is 1am and i cannot be arsed to reinstall everything.

anybody got any ideas?
