Same here with the score board. When you join a game,(assuming sides are equal) you want to join a side with some fellow DVFers on. Is it possible to see them, let alone anyone? NO!. Random guess time.
Aside from this I find that the mike sound, is always too quiet. Like it though.
Anyone who was on last night (Cluderi and Leigh) may have seen me make full use of the opponents radio noise being heard.

Basically i have a mic attached (got a creative pci512) and it only actually worked (ie became active and recorded noise) when I had thew sound recorder set to record.

I done CS1.3 and its now on ALL OF THE TIME!. so i cannot record (every setting in sound recorder doesnt allow ANY input) and on some settings the mic is always live so it is always recording whatever is going on.

My sis had a similar problem and I put it down to the soundcard, but now its probably the software.

i DONT want the mic to be on all of the time, so i can only assume the CS1.3 software has added something.

Like anything you get used to the scoreboard in the game, but it is annoying that it's hidden behind the server info at the start. It's breeding a team of Scaramangas

Have you maxed out the recieve volume in <i>Play CS ... Customize</i>?

<b>Homer</b> - sorry, but I've no idea how installing a game can screw up your settings so much. Only thing I can suggest is get the latest drivers for your card, which you probably already have and check your setup in Control Panel > Multimedia options.

IT WORKS!

not the patch, the mic! I reinstalled the drivers and got a new surprise. not only did it fix the problem but the disk installed extra stuff (some good EAX stuff also).

When I first installed the drivers it was autodetected so nowt else was needed. when i installed via the cd in windows i found that the disk DID have loads of extra stuff.
