As some people have been suggesting, I’ve updated the list to remove players who no longer seem to be active (i.e. not listed on Csports, meaning they have never played, or not played for over 6 months). The updated list can be found –



This is in no way permanent, and any of these players can easily rejoin, it should just mean that the contact lists and ICQ are easier to manage, and mean fewer requests for new players.



The <b>removed</b> players are as follows:

Splobber (no ICQ # anyway)

Unless I hear anything to the contrary, I will remove these from my ICQ contacts soon (is there no way to remove yourself from their lists?)



Both the following players are listed without the -=DVF=- prefix (presuming therefore that it is them). They will stay on list for moment, but not indefinitely:

One other small update was to add JaHad to the rankings page.

I have one small problem... if I knock them off my list, I can no longer receive messages from them as I have opted <b>not</b> to receive messages from those not on my contact list.

Then again, no loss?

BTW I've never managed to find anyone in DVF to have a game with! ...What are the usual servers you lot use and what times are you online?
Do any of you use Gamespy to connect?

Check out the gamespy server list on the DVF website. These ar pretty much the servers which I use. Mainly jolt and nguk.

Don't use gamespy myself, so I'm not sure about the list thing, but from the FAQ:

<b>"How do I find where -=DVF=- members are playing?</b>

People playing Counter-Strike will leave the IP number of the server they are on in their away message, so simply copy this and join the server. If you can't find anyone playing, then either ask online members if they want a game, or start playing yourself and leave the server IP number in your away message so people can join you.
