How would you know if some other dvf er wanted to play? If all slots were full, then they coulnt get a message to you, telling you to clear a place. Or am I stoopid.

I don't know if you can reserve slots ... I'll speak to Jolt about it once I've signed up. I think you can definitely with AdminMod, but I still don't want to use it!!!!!

One thing you can do though is look through gamespy to see who's in the server. Pick a name at random, then remotely log in and KICK the poor sod

MAybe set some sort of welcome message, stating that the user may get kicked? or set it so at peak times a message comes up, like uk2.net has, saying you may be kicked if a dvf wants to play.

Even without AdminMod (which is what uk2 use I think) we can have a message in the middle of the screen when you log on (message of the day it's called). This should only be a few lines, but we can easily stick something like that in
