Howsabout whoever does it uses a SINGLE zip file, with each map item placed into the correct dir?

I got the cd of maps and patches the other month (from another DVF) and couldnt understand why i didnt have 1/2 the maps!

what happend was each file had its own way of unzipping, one into the dirs (point to cstrike only), some you only had to point to half-life, some maps and some you had to manually select items and put them into a dir.

so if we get x amount of maps, set it up so that you just have to point the single zip file to the root of cstrike and each zipped file will end up in the correct place in the folder.

Do you all see what I mean?

Well the thing me and Sputnik discussed were to put the all into the corresponding folders ina zip file, but you manually copy them accross into the folders on your hd. This would help to stop overwriting the folders themselves and losing your current maps, and it would help the people who had the mod version as oppose to the retail version. All you do is copy the contents from the folder in the cd, into the same folder on your pc. I will try it before it goes out anyway.
