I received it today and have copied it and put the maps on CS.

It will be posted either tomorrow or 1st thing monday to Alex Ripley (manchester).

I have used a new padded envelope (still put on a 27p 1st class stamp). I have NOT used the envelopes self-seal stuff. When you receive it just carefully remove the sellotape. that way you can possibly reuse it using its own seal. Saves a few pence.



***PROBLEM WITH ZIP FILE***

It creates a dir called sounds, wheras my CS has a directory called sound. There are not many files to copy over but this is the reason you may not get some sounds loaded (esp the matrix).

Quick one, it shouldnt really matter as I put in the read me file(you did read it didnt you? ) that you should exctract the zip file then copy the files from the folders into the relevant folders in your CS directory. this would stop the problems of you overwriting files you already had, and any differences between retail/mod versions.

Couldnt see any readme, apart from the ones included with the individual maps.

Anyway, it all worked out fine anyway, and apart from the sounds didnt have any probs.

Is the read me on the disk you have Sputnik? I am sure I put one in there. Ah well as long as it all works ok thats all the matters.
How many peeps are we waiting for now then?

I've now got two more cheques to wait for, plus another two from our late additions

I might order it before I get 'em though, but I'm a wee bit busy at the moment
