Could someone give me their honest opinion on this Monitor (click link below) with regards to quality/price/make/value etc.

no need to actually chk it out know the monitor its right in front of me depends what ur going to use it for . but games/movies is out of the question

response of 25, 350:1 contrast ratio (a little low)
Available from either or (better than ebuyer for me). About £350, in normal beige or sexy silver or black (bit more though)
*edit* there seems to be a 'p' and 't' variant which are better yet more expensive. I'd check it out unless you want to save the pennies and get the uber below.

The Hitachi uber one seems to be £410-420 at or dabs.

You might want to pop down tottenham court road and have a look at the monitors in the flesh .. don't buy from there though as they charge an arm and a leg

also do refurbished Sony TFT's with full 3 years guarantee. The company have a great reputation and the customer service is very very good.

They have a TFT for £352. 400:1 contrast and a response time of 20ms i think (rise is 5ms, fall is 20ms).... hmmm is that actually 20 or 25ms Leigh?

But phone to check if they have stock though as you may end up waiting a while (6 months?!), as they have to wait for Sony to ship em. Details on the site.

Now you've got me wanting a TFT as well... about the right price or the hitachi... ahhhh more money to spend when i have none!

To get the respsonse time you need to add the rise and fall together, which makes the sony you mention 25ms

The hitachi has a rise of 12ms and a fall of 4ms, making the respsonse time of 16ms
