Following are the rules for league matches:
Pre-Match
1. A team captain should be stated who will speak for their team during the match, take score screenshots after each round and make demos.
2. 24 hours before the game (at the latest), the size of the teams should be finalised. Maximum number is 8 per side.
3. Each team will pick one map to play on.
Match Rules
1. Matches consist of four quarters each lasting 12 rounds, and with the following format:
First Map
1st quarter:
12 Rounds, Map 1 - Team1 CTs, Team2 Ts
2nd quarter:
12 Rounds, Map 1 - Team1 Ts, Team2 CTs
Second Map
3rd quarter:
12 Rounds, Map 2 - Team1 CTs, Team2 Ts
4th quarter:
12 Rounds, Map 2 - Team1 Ts, Team2 CTs
2. Matches begin at the time specified. The server will be locked for half-an-hour before the match begins to allow players a warm-up period and to organise any reserves.
3. If any team is missing players when the first quarter is due to start, this team can either forfeit the game there and then, or play on.
4. Once the quarter is started, no new players can join (though anyone who drops can re-connect) and there are no pauses allowed.
5. When the first quarter has finished, the map will be reloaded and a maximum of 2 minutes allowed for players to re-connect.
6. The second quarter proceeds acorrding to the above rules.
7. Between the second and third quarters of the match, there is a break of a maximum of ten minutes (though the match can start sooner if both designated team captains agree). At this point any team which is missing players can call up reserves.
8. The third and fourth quarters then proceed according to the rules above.
Forfeits
A team can forfeit the game at any point. Any rounds played will be noted. Any remaining rounds will be declared lost by the forfeiting team, and the final score derived from this.
Points
Win = 3
Draw = 1
Loss = 0
The scores (wins and losses for each round) will also be noted. In the case of sorting out positions of teams tied on points, the team with the higher round won aggregate (rounds won - rounds lost) will be placed higher.
Demos
Ideally all players should make demos of the match. This should have no impact on performance of the game. If you don't know how the info is on - .
However at least one member of each team (probably team captain) must make demos in case there are any disputes and also as a record of the game.
