Blue bits: Make them into a funcwall and then the properties texture-somelight (depends on your entities [i use a custom one i found on the web] but i can also have solid - nologht making them not stand out)

The same with all things blue

Can't we have a mapping forums, where mappers can post useful information and also people getting into it can find out how things are done???????? :shrug:

If I understand the question correctly, then to make the blue bits disappear you do this (I've just done some chain-link fences this way).

Create the object.
Select Tie to Entity
Make it a func_wall
Set the Render Mode to Solid
Set the FX Amount to 255.

...and Robert's your mother's brother.
