For the quickswitch, bind "MOUSE4" "slot2", you might need hud_fastswitch 1as well.
For grenades, bind "MOUSE5" "slot4".

If you don't use fastswitch though (I dont like it myself ) then you'd probably need to use slot2; +attack or maybe slot2; wait; +attack to be sure the lag doesn't stop it from working.

Although you might find it better to use the lastinv command, but for this to switch between primary and secondary you'd need to select one then the other at the start of the round or something. I don't like this command much because I always forget what the last weapon I had was

I'm not sure if it's in CS, but in tfc and hl you can use weapon_* to switch directly to a weapon without having to use fastswitch or +attack to select items on the menu. I know weapon_knife works as I use it in a reload aborter but I might have a fiddle to see if there's a weapon_secondary/pistol/something...

Also is there a way (im sure ive seen it) of having it so that when you filter through your weapons using the scroll button on your mouse it auto selects it in stead of you having to stop on the weapong and press fire.

That's what the hud_fastswitch setting does.

I think the scroll-wheel select works like that beacuse you're using invnext and invprev. You could write an alias that lets mousewheel use the slotx commands, that would do what you want.

Well in that case, try doing what Mez suggested: changing the mousewheel to use slotx instead of invnext/prev, which should, if fastswitch is on, do what you want (Maybe).
