Hmm - you should see a counter-strike screen not a Half-Life one when the game starts. Are you using the Retail CS (from the Generation H/L game set) or the Mod? Also check that PODbot installed into the cstrike/PODbot directory.

Starting a game with PODbot should be as simple as:
Dbl click cstrike.exe->Play CS->LAN Games->Create Game->Select starting map->OK

and then add bots (or edit the PodBot.cfg file so they are added automagically).

If you've just d/l PODbot you'll need some more Waypoints (so the Bots know where to camp ) :

Also, use this program - - to launch it rather than the .exe.

It makes it a lot easier, allows you to set up the config easily, and also run multiple bots (though obviously not at the same time).

The offical ones come with the program, I think they get installed by default in the /Wptcs10 dir.

Check that this file is the one reffered to in your podbot config, or as I said, download MBL, and set the appropiate folder with this program.

What do mean exactly? You can create waypoints yourself, but I don't think this is what you're talking about.

If you just wanna play, then make sure the waypoints you have are in the right folder, create a new LAN game (or use MBL) then you should see bots starting to appear after a few seconds, or if not press the PodBot menu key (normally <b>=</b>) and then press <b>1</b> to add a bot etc.

You don't need to do anything to the waypoints themselves, but if that's not what you meant post again ...
