I would disagree that Norton is shite. Throughout all the secent virus issues we have experianced in the last year I have not been infected once. It has performed absolutly fine for me!

ran up to date Norton anti virus as soon as i saw the increase in space and according to that im clean, I know its not foolproof but something as drastic as that should be found by Norton surely and whats my page file drive I have windows on one segment drive, 2nd segment is totally free, and 3rd is storage and programs,....yes its odd, but this was going to be a music pc, till my other one died. |

Norton is SHIT - if I may be so bold. The only anti virus solution to have DO NOT DELETE VIRUS turned ON as a default setting. Also updating your anti virus after you have a virus is useless - alot of virii are written to disable anti-virus products as standard so if you are not upto date at the time you get the virus there is nothing you can do. However I don't think someone would write a virus to delete a few files on one drive and then do nothing else. Just don't be sending me any files? Your swap file, virtual memory ... do you have this set to the drive that has just 'found' 1500MB? |
