Athlon 64 - Anyone taken the 64 bit route yet?

Just been reading a roundup in a mag of all the latest chips and a bang per buck type chart. The 64 bit chips came out quite well, even when compared to the p4 chips. Im looking for a new system in a few months, was thinking maybe a shuttle

with maybe a new spanking 64 bit chip to squeeze into it.
Also, you can get a 64 bit beta version of windows xp on a 365 day trial period, plus linux has been 64 bit for a while now.

Well there is a new version of the chips out too, the 900 pin versions, also, with the advent of pciexpress on the horizon, I was thinking more of in about 3-6 months, see how things pan out.
