has msn messenger changed?

Some of the contacts are now golden in colour, indicating they can be sms'd. Has this just changed or something?

afaik my mobile messaging has been enabled since it was first possible.....altho on the first night ppl were like "wow omfg thats amazing" and i got like 30 texts in 10mins :nuts:

......then after that whenever someones tried to send a msg its taken at least 2 days to arrive

and so now no one bothers

I've got someone on my contact list who has their mobile phone signed up to MSN and he isn't gold but has a small phone icon next to his name when offline instead. Is there two different versions?

How much does this cost you though to get text messages through MSN though? Bet they sting you.

i dont think it costs anything...cos i used to get mine when i had no credit left....but i aint had any for a while so wouldnt know

msn sms costs £1 for every 10 you recieve or something like that. it's in the small print
