Anyone seen troy then, whats it like? Hope its not just an excuse for Brad Pitt to wear a skirt. I hope its as good as gladiator was.

Im well looking forward to this film, going to watch tonight/tomorrow.

I enjoyed Van Helsing, good entertaining movie, gets over the top at times though.

Aliens vs. Predator looked like it was going to be good. Then I heard it 's only a 12a or something like that, and I know it's going to lick ballz

Ok it may be good, but I'm not convinced at the moment. Somehow it's not going to match up with the original films.

I was really looking forward to Troy, however I was extremely disapointed. It takes extreme liberties with the source material (e.g. reducing a ten year war down to about 3 weeks..., Ajax being killed after about 5 minutes, the Achilles rescues the trojan woman thing), the mass fight scenes are very poorly shot (one on one's are OK though) and the accents are atrocious.

Hopefully Alexander will be a lot better - you can't really go wrong with Oliver Stone directing Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie and Jared Leto.

And Van Helsing was OK, but every copy of it should be hunted down and the last 2 minutes burned from the reel, so that no one is forced to watch them ever again.

Mez, I concur. Last 2 minutes to be stripped from every copy. Burnt.
