So where have all the DVF members gone?, only seems to be Machiavelli and myself on at the mo, HomerJ's, Gram's, Lemm, etc all seem to of vanished, what did i do??

Dont seem to be that many people playing online much though. Probab;y coz its holiday season and they are all 'largin it to the ibiza massive' or something like that.

I need a dvf game soon

I am still around.

TBH I have had uni work to do recently and not really wanted to play CS after a few hours of net research.

Also trying to learn PHP and SQL for a project i may be doing so i am tending to do that for a few hours rather than CS.

But after seeing my score (700K Noooooo) in the rankings I had better start again!

Probably be on 2morrow night, most of the night if poss coz uni asignment is about 90% complete (will finish at weekend) and the revision is for when i want!

Mind you i WILL be crap for the 1st few games!

I don't know about you guys, but I get real bad lag spikes on the NGUK servers now! I don't know why, cos I never use to get them and I don't get them on any other servers. Its a bit strange really cos every minute or so I will just flash back to where I was 10 steps before????? So now I generally try to avoid their servers if I can help it.

I was getting some serious lag at the end of last week, but this week it seems to have cleared up quite a bit, just been getting the normal 56k lag occassionally.

Cs rocks on cable modem, never had any lag and get a ping of around 25 - 45

Well if you've just read the Clan Challenge post you will know that I have been off line for the past 2 days. This was due to a problem with the NTL cable connection in my area. Cable rocks when it works.

My brother has cable (show off) and gets a really good ping of around 30 but I get ping of between 40 and 80 on most uk servers with ISDN which isn't bad is it!
