Do they support upto 4 devices like on a mobo, or is it just the 2? I need to shoehorn some more storage space into a mchine and all my ide slots are full.

They'd normally have one channel, supporting 2 devices, but there's no reason that they shouldn't have more.
MOBOs have two channels - giving up to 4 devices.

Im picking one of these up soon, doesnt mention anythign about supporting 4 devices, I think it should, just like a mobo, but was just curious if anyone had used one.

It appears to have two cable slots on it - each cable would be a single channel for 2 devices, so 4 in total.
