Ive got a Nokia 6100: colour screen, polyphonic ringtones good phone without having to jump up a stage to camera phones.

The K700i is really annoying to use; the buttons dont always respond and is very plasticy. Thats my experience with one, it might just have been that individual phone but thats the negative opinion that ive had.

Go for the 6230 with cheaper contract because you get a very good phone with mp3 player, video and camera and radio etc. The 6230 feels nicer than the K700i and is easier/simpler to use.

I've got the SPV C500 from Orange, and it's the best phone I've ever had.
It takes Mini SD cards, and runs Windows Media player - I've read about people ripping movies for it. I record stuff on my DAB radio and play it on the phone. It's pretty close to being a full fledged pocket PC, but phone sized and without the touch screen.
