Guys, EA have said they fecked up with the 1.1 patch and are now asking people to uninstall and go back to the 1.0 game, and also with all the servers. I have had no end of issues since I installed the patch, and was seriously thinking of taking the game back. I managed to play for about 30 mins last night in 3 hours due to constant crashes. Not a happy bunny.

Hmmm, very strange. BF2 has been rock solid for me since day one. No problems with the 1.01 patch either.

Just read the note about the 1.01 patch and the memory leak - now I know why it takes a few minutes for control to return to my PC when I exit the game....... sheesh

Well Im going to try and install it on another box using win2k, see if that helps any.
