Anyone watch this program, its mad! The guy cooks food he goes and catches himself, really good to watch. Last one I saw was him making haggis at some butchers in scotland. offaltastic. |

Thats nothing on one of his earlier TV appearances, he ate human placenta, apparently it's some French delicacy or ritual after errr literally birth. He didn't go to the source to eat as it were, he let it come to him, after pregnancy. His river cottage cookbook is a really interesting read. Some of it's a bit too intense for the layman, you need access to a whole cow and pigs intestines and stuff, but the philosophy behind it is sound, and the easy recipes are well nice. His Meat book is meant to be good. |

Didn't Jamie Oliver work in the River Cottage earlier in his career? |

I saw this a couple of years ago and that guy is nuts. Really addictive programme though, for some reason. |
