Not in the air 3D yet but I do have a Trex 450SE now which is the best move I eaver made, so I have about 5 heli's in the hanger

The Rex is a nice piece of kit.
Im personally still not good enough to get one, I can hover ok, and rotate on an axis, but find reverse flight hard.

I used to have one of those, best bet is to strip it down and add a little weight to the nose and then you can fly forwards. The little motor on the back for forward flying is kak and serves no other purpose other than to drain the battery.

Get a Lama or similar if you want to go down the simple route, it also help to learn the orrientation skills needed for the more unstable helis
