Whenever I go to play cs, I can find 4 or 5 people playing, all on different servers? We need to learn and play together as a team. I will always try to find someone else online to help, wether thru gamespy, or the -=DVF=- playersearch link. Last night I looked and saw 7 ppl playing, only 3 together. This is not the first time too. Often you can find 5-6- even 7 team members all from the same team all playing different servers.

If I've played Dust for more than an hour it reminds me how boring so many months of it gets, hence I would not be too eager to join a dust only server even with you lot in it

Also, I tend to forget that playersearch thing -- thanks for reminding me I usually just check icq away messages and gamespy searching all NGUK servers.

But yeah I agree ..... i'm missing the regular DVF-only shootin-sessions

I've noticed this too.

Seems the trouble is, a lot of people don't use ICQ, or even when they've got it running don't leave server IPs in their away messages.

Serverspy is ok, but it doesn't cover all servers and takes a while to update, so people can't just rely on this for others to find them.

I try and use ICQ but 9 times out of 10 if no-one else is on I just scout through the servers and play, and I dont normally know in advance what ip it will be on.

I dont use gamespy and try and find peeps through the serversearch page.

Have downloaded quickjoin (the other one seems to need GameSpy), but how do we get our own IRC channel?

Yup your right Qcheck Does need Gamespy but it works really well.
I tend to use quickjoin now though cos I can put in the servers that I want and it's very flexible

QCheck does work with a few other browsers beside GameSpy. There's also a "Favorite's List" in the latest version that allows you to add up to 10 different servers which you can quickly connect to w/o the need for <b>any</b> external server browsers.
