Well from my point of view all consoles are pointless - I could never see the point of buying a box you can't upgrade, especially when the games are really expensive.

The graphics on all of these boxes are always only 'great' for about a month until the next PC graphics card comes out, and you can only play platform games so many times before you get bored of the whole genre.

I remember my cousin when he got his Sega Megadrive, his favorite game was Sonic the Hedgehog - what an incredibly tedious game. He followed this line of console all the way to the end, and had all the Sonic variations, but you could never convince me they were any good.

Well since you can buy a whole console for the price of a half decent graphics card, i think it makes perfect sense, PC games arent that much cheaper and since PC developers have to cater for a wide range of hardware so its harder to get the best from a game, unlike a console where you know the kit your dealing with so can get the best from it everytime

Black and white footage is popular amongst thrillers as it makes the film more thrilling i guess.
