Timesplitters 2 is pretty much the same on all formats and is a good FPS particularly multiplayer. Nightfire is okay while it lasts, but very short single player, and multi is decent but not special. Also Medal of Honour Frontline. I've only played it on Gamecube, but I think it's pretty similar on all formats again, and I actually enjoyed it more than the PC version. Don't know why, it just seemed more fun.

Driving games, depends really if they want real or arcade. A few are Burnout 2, GTA Vice City, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Pro Race Driver, NASCAR, World Rally Championship etc.

Just point them in the direction of and let them make their own mind up.
