I vaguely recall reading that you can 'fool' Halo into thinking that it's running on a local Xbox connect linkup, when it's actually being played over the internet....think it may have need some extra kit, or a pc doing 'odd' things in the background - maybe this is what you're referring to ? :shrug:

yeah thats xbconnect :) like you say it fools halo into thinking your playing on a LAN :)
