please help...

i want to be able to play mp3 through my xbox media player. I have burnt my mp3 onto a dvd - seeing as the blasted xbox doesn't read normal cd-r's but when i start my xbox media player... i cannot select the DVD - or my system hangs. Im using the latest 2.4 media player.

Does anyone know why or how to play mp3 on xbox?

there are also no thumbnails in any of the folders... im sure there should be some... surely i dont need to install all the mp3's on my hard drive? im still using the rather small 4 gb one...

ive got the HULK on DVD in a avi format and that plays fine, although i dont use media player to play it. Maybe media player isnt configured correctly i dont know... i have looked on the forums for this fault and it looks very complicated to alter all the code... etc.
