Head over Heels

One for the oldies:

You may recall a game that came out on the spectrum\C64\etc called Head over Heels
(isometric 3D platform/puzzle game with a few unique twists).
Well, it's been very nicely converted for modern Windows PCs, and it's free.

Ive gone a bit retro recently as well

Take a look around the "Home of the Underdogs" site that's hosting HoH above. There's loads of stuff on there and a lot of it's freeware.

If you like Monkey Island, then two recomendations (both free and downloadable from there):
Beneath a Steel Sky
(IMHO one of the best point-and-clicks ever)

5 Days a Stranger
(basic gfx and short but nicely done amateur horror)
