I've downloaded a few ROMS for the ZSNES emulator today - not sure of their legality, so I won't post too much

The best quality site I've found so far is:

...appears to have most SNES Zelda and Mario games
- although they only allow one download a day

(but I bet you can circumvent this by disconnecting and reconnecting if your ISP uses dynamic DNS address allocations)

I do actually own a SNES and Mario Kart, which still comes out regularly.
IMHO, SNES Mario Kart has yet to be beaten for that style of game (although Crash Team Racing on the PSX was a pretty good attempt)
