I think, if you join wwcl based servers, they can overwrite your config, unless it is saved as read only.

they block the changing of specific commands, but do not overwrite them.

but if you change ANY thing in your config while on a WWCL server, the next map change/time u leave server etc will go back to how it was originally...very annoying as this includes things like sensiitivty/name :*(

it happens to me when my pc crashes and steam or cs is running.
