like i said, the idea was apparently to make it an nice introduction for kids, which is what the Gc is aimed at, this may suprise you but if you look at the range of games the Gc is far more child orintated then the other big 2 consoles.
However i own and love(no you filthy lot, not in that way) my GC cos its got plenty of big boys games to play with, (remsatered resi evil...drool....metroid prime....drool+ almost all the others i own)

XIII is one of the best console first person shooters i have played in a long time, maby not on the scale of perfect dark or goldeneye (well, any non pc shooter has difficulty beating them) but it has "realsitic" recoil, the damage system is a lot tougher then other fps's and i think the storyline is inotive, as this is what has been lacking in other fps games of late.
Some people seem to dislike the comic book style graphics, and i must admit to being a skeptic of it my self cos i dint really like the still shots i saw of it in magazines and reviews, but it dosent change the game play one bit and it actually makes for a more player involving experinace by using footsteps and explosions.
that and the finall boss is a challange, which makes a nice change

I think u got me wrong as much fun as perfect dark is/was goldeneye is still one of the better games for mulitplayer. Timeplsitters 3 for all consoles is also a very good but but someat about goldeneye makes it great, its not brilliant graphics in terms of today but when it came out it was the best thing since..........things

i've only ever pld golden eye recent;y and it doesn;'t appela to me as the graphics let it down. if i had pld it when it came otu i would have been more impressed.

mario kart to me is a bit boring, i don't relate well to "cartoony" games. burnout is an amazing multiplayer racing game but is limited by ony allowing two ppl to play at once.
