Shogun:Total war was a massive disappointment when it came out years ago, I was waiting for it for months and was gutted. Didn't have a clue how to get my men to do what I wanted so ended up just playing the Risk style bit without the battles,got a crappy T-shirt with it though. has the series got better then?

medieval is similar to the first both of which i enjoyed but i found some of the diplomtic bits a bit tiresome, especially medieval where there are tons of princes and princes and dukes, and spy and diplomats and u hardly get to battle.

I think its a brilliant game, though ist very addictive indeed, been up till 5am some nights, thinking just 10 mins has passed

Well, its 2:47am on Monday morning with a 7am start and I've just finished being hooked on the bloody thing

Been playing with the total realism mod and so far i am finding it quite good makes a lot of changes to the game (to many to list)
