NOW! (yes I'm bored!)

These are my awards to the best and worst of games that I have OWNED! (not just played on someone else's computer for 5 mins) I would just like to say which games I've enjoyed the most and also I'd like to find out which games other people enjoyed, no bickering DAMN IT! it's just a celebration!

So this is my homage to the games which have given me the most pleasure in my console playing life, and those which have quite frankly been a bit crap!

remember - OWNED! and some are too close to call so I have to split my vote! and this is totally my honest opinion!


Best FPS: Halo (xbox) Worst: Return to Castle Wolfenstein (xbox)

Best Racing game: MSR (Dreamcast)/ Project Gotham 2 (xbox)

Best RPG: Phantasy Star II (megadrive)/ Landstalker (megadrive) Worst: Evolution (dreamcast)

Best Platform: Sonic 2 (megadrive)/ Wonderboy 3 (master system) Worst: Sonic 3

Best Fighting: Soul Calibur (Dreamcast)

Best Adventure/RPG: Shenmue 1 & 2 (Dreamcast)

Best Shoot em up: X-Wing (pc)

Best Strategy: Dune II Battle for Arakis (megadrive)/ C&C (dreamcast/saturn??) Worst: Powermonger (Saturn)

Best Sports: PGA, NHL, FIFA (megadrive)

Best Squad Shooter: Hidden & Dangerous (dreamcast)

Best Mulitplayer: Sonic 2/ Halo/ Conflict Desert Storm (xbox)/ Micro Machines & Counter-strike!

Best graphics (at time): Halo, Shenmue 1&2, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Project Gotham 2, Ecco the Dolphin (dreamcast)

Best story: Shenmue 1&2, Panzer Dragoon Saga

Best Sound: Shenmue 1&2, Halo, Panzer Dragoon Saga (apparently Steve Vai plays guitar in Halo2!)

Best camera direction: Shenmue Worst: Resident Evil

longest game took me to complete: Morrowind (xbox)/ Phantasy Star II

Biggest Disappointment: Deus Ex 2 (xbox)/ Sonic R (dreamcast)

Most underated game: Ecco the Dolphin (dreamcast = amazing game!)

Most overated game: GTA III

Most ambitious game: Shenmue, Nomad Soul (dc) Ecco the Dolphin.

Game I've most played: NHL 94 (megadrive)

Hardest Game: Phantasy Star II (tho I was young!)

Best Character design: Shining Force.
