i've heard u can block the passage ways they come through and it stops the ai in its tracks. something to do with the AI not wanting to destroy ormove anything that could be used as cover.

Just after the first bit where alyx sys she will try to reprogram them in the prison. 2 flights of stairs which guards run up. They didnt work then, now in the next bit with 3 sentry guns, they dont work now.

Its in reply to your pm. Turning ai on makes them rush me, with guns not working, turn it off they dont attack me. COnfused. :/

It sounds like a bug - are you sure you have the guns pointing the correct way round?

I know those guns didn't shoot me at all ...

You mean the airboat level I did without an airboat? By spending hours using 2 crates and hopping from one to the other? that one? The one when I got the airboat and flew past what took me hours in 3 minutes? Is that the level you mean?

Well just to aadd to my previous comments about the turrets not working, I went back a stage and redid the whole level again. this time ther guns worked, it was a doddle! You want to try it without any turrets at all, thats a quest which will make you cry.
