i dont see how they have no effect, i can see you missing the red shell with a quick jink and shift across the course but if you hit a nanna skin or booby trap then your still going to stop, otherwise it is a blatent glitch, you may be able to avoid them by turning faster but if you colide with object you will surley stop. |

If I remember correctly, when you run over a banana skin, hit brake then back onto the accelarator and you should get away with not spinning. Your character will also give you a little phew (!) whistle. |

good tip that Jamie. Yeah ag, but no mate.. thats the whole point, it doesn't collide most of the time because you are lagging all over the pitch. I have been looking about the forums and the best way to avoid it is a good friends list. |
