After walking into Game and being told they had a spare 360 floating about that no-one had bought, I now find myself if possession of a 360.

After 2 hours getting it into HD mode (I refuse to read manuals with a console) I find my friends list is strangely empty.

So lets share our gamer tags.

Mine is Myke99.

I think for the three members of DVF who own a 360 this is going to be a very short thread.

Wow - how rich are you. I have PGR3 and that's all - on Scott's recommendation.

What are good games? I don't want to waste £50 on a crap one.

Live is SMART. You can download so much stuff, HDTV trailers, demos and small fun 'girly' games.

I have been denied a 360. I was promised a premium pack from a guy who had ordered loads of them from Germany. They ended up getting delayed till after new year, loads of people cancelled their orders as they wanted them for xmas, thus I got left out. Will hang on till I can pick a premium pack up from somewhere though, hopefully sometime this month.

Well I have had mine for 4 days and I am still playing it - thus it outlasted my GBA, GBA SP and Gamecube.

The graphics are amazing, the sound is crystal clear and the DVD playback is just the best I have ever seen. Obviously the HDTV helps in this respect but it is just phenominal the difference.

PGR3 is probably the best driving game I have ever played, it is fun both offline and online. The difficulty is just right and the rewards of new cars are great, you just get to know how to handle your car and you are tempted with a more powerful, less stable one to advance your driving skills.

The online aspect rules, I downloaded the first few levels of Q4 and some detective game to see if I liked them before going out to buy them (or not). I also can just sit about and chat to people.

You can also stream media off your PC over the network and play your MP3s from your PC in game.

All in all, for once I am not depressed at being an early adopter.

You install the Windows Media Extention on your PC, turn your XBOX on and watch it do it's thing. The PC authorises the Xbox automatically via the install program and then it's easy to play MP3s in any game you want. You just press the L!ve button on the controller and go down to music and select source - choose your PC and play away. It sorts your music using the ID3 tags exactly like an iPod.

Finally got round to getting a 360!

Gotta say it's very sexual!, Progect Gotham is ace.
Connected up to PC aswell so I can listen to all my MP3's while I play, and the wireless controller is a godsend.

I will add, that you cannot do this in original XBOX games, only 360 ones :)

As you may have noticed I have changed my gamertag to pornopants
:norty: :D

Jamie
When you get ghost recon it maybe an idea to get a MU (memory unit) as there apears to be alot of issues with the game crashing. Use the memory unit to backup the game profile. Also set the console to 60Hz.
I finished the single player campaign on the weekend (only takes 6 or so hours), its not as long as call of duty 2. Not tried it online yet

Get Fight Night round 3 aswell, its reall good!

(FYI)
Dead or Alive 4: Bought it, took it back the next day, graphics are good n stuff, just boring.
Full Auto: Steer clear, its crap, poor coding loads of lagg.
Tiger Woods 06: Pretty good, not much difference to the xbox version.
COD2: Brilliant, big game, ace graphics and sound, long lifespan, not great online though.
PGR3: Ace, totally ACE! all I can say really
PDZ: Erm, good, couldnt get on with it (its apparently good online)
Geometry Wars EVOLVED: Wicked, downloadable from the marketplace, one of the game I play the most.
