Re: CS:GO - Its awesome!

I'm thinking of buying this in an effort to rediscover my groove too... Would be great to get back into CS and this seems like a good opportunity. Just worried that the servers will all be full of me's from 12 (!) years ago and I'll stand little chance against people who spend all day playing it and...

Congratulations!

Hope you're having a good trip, it looks awesome!

I'm over on that side of the world for a few months and plan to do plenty of travelling to groovy places like the ones you've been ticking off - as much as my credit rating allows anyway.

Quite right Si, I'm a lawyer. And yeah, I don't know what could be worse ;)

Well remembered on the uni Woz.

Wow. Hello.

Well looking at the unread posts icons it looks like I've not logged in here for well over a year. Buggerinfek where's all that spare time gone? Spare time that was very well wasted here of course. A drunken listen to a favourite album that I got into in my DVF phase encouraged me to have a quick ch...

Jamie, best of luck! Sounds like an awesome plan. Rather like Woz, I fear I love these islands too much to ever renounce citizenship or move away permanently, but I can't help but admire those who do head off to pastures new and better. (And pastures warmer, drier, cheaper and more bikini-clad). I'm...

Aye, clip brushes over the offending objects would do the trick I'm sure - make 'em work like they used to, even if they don't want to :) That said, I don't even know this problem as I've only just started playing HL2/CSS... Well I've not got a chance to look again till tomorrow evening at the earli...

Mapping for CS:Source

Hi, well as my sig shows I'm trying to convert de_tain2 to source. Then if that works I'd like to re-do Blockwar too, as well as finish as_officestorm2 for Source... Just so I know who to talk to about it, who has started mapping for Source? Any completed maps? :norty: I'm having trouble converting ...

An excellent concert, and hopefully a productive day. To see the original Pink Floyd (well, not original, but y'know) together was awesome, to see David Gilmour and Roger Waters sharing a square metre and sharing the Comfortably Numb lyrics (jointly credited to just those two, as they were) was trul...

Oi! Leave my thread alone dammit :p (Well I'll take it as partly mine). Unless you're going to talk about music I like that is :indiff: Or de_tain for that matter. Actually forget that, is anyone looking forward to the new Porcupine Tree album as much as I am? In Absentia is one of the best albums o...

I'm not at home at the moment so I haven't done my Euphoria Morning rediscovery yet  Alter Bridge hasn't arrived yet but I'm expecting to like it (a bit), as I , umm, kind of, umm, liked a little bit of Creed, a little bit. The instrumental section anyway. I really love the new QOTSA album! It...

Colony - I had a look at your Metal Pigeon site last night, some very good stuff on there :) Caused me to order the Alter Bridge album and decide to dig out Chris Cornell's Euphoria Morning to give it a second chance :D (As well as to hate the world for still not delivering my Lullabies to Paralyze ...

Cheers guys  I'm really hoping to get HL2 sometime soon, which means playing CS2 on our server.... I don't know if I'll have time to be perfectly honest, but I really would like to give it a go, although it'd be a shame to only convert it without a certain amount of fixing and adding. I dunno ...
