"mainly DS"?
"mainly DS"?
I'm sorry but the PSP is better than the DS, I've got both and while the DS is nice and inovative (the touch screen is great and works well for those games that use it) the PSP has better graphics and is just so much more useful, I can surf the web on it, store music and video files on it and photographs etc whereas the DS is a games machine and no more.

you sir are a nut job. (no offence ment, just your taste is awful
)
That machine is about as usless as they come, its games have no imagination, i have to pay £20+ to whatch a movie on a TINY screen, when i probably own said movie all ready, its wireless net is no big deal, its a media player and i have one of those all ready and the whole thing is hideously over priced and as with the rest of sonys consoles hideoulst inferior and selling on its sonly logo alone.
Oh that and it will shatter into a zillion pieces if it drops from a two inch high table, it has no form of screen protection and i distrust any console that has to be delayed for 2+ months due to faults.
Ninty fanboy in this corner.

psp just has games made originally for ps2..if u have a pc or ps2 you'll get nothing new out of it.
i think having a phone and an mp3 player gives you more than a psp and at generally a smaller price.

"Additional grass areas have been added to the enemy faction's zones. This grass is exceptionally green."
Had a DS for 2 weeks, played it constantly. Sold it after my holiday as I didnt have time to play it. Got a psp for xmas played a few games for it which are good, but use it mainly for running emulators on now. Only used it for snes, megadrive and videos in the last 2 weeks. PSP games have not had a look in, and I am yet to find a must have for it. Got rid of GTA after 1 day it was that rubbish.
there are a couple of good ones for the PSP I remember, like this crate moving puzzle game that was rather good.
I really tried not biting this troll/ fanboy post.
PEOPLE BUY WHAT THEY LIKE, EVERYONES TASTES ARE DIFFERENT - why does everything that you like have to be liked by everyone else? Maybe you should consider moving to the USA, with lots of like minded people.
For me, DS is the innovation , whilst the psp is an excellent media device - its not the best "handheld" for me - as it's costly and seems less durable than my DS. I wouldn't have dared take a PSP to Canada and that and a dodgy X button , drove me to sell.

well said, the consoles them selves are inferior, as are many of the games.sm wrote:But all incarnations of the playstation (1,2,psp) suck balls.Night wing / joe king wrote:lol ps2 over gamecube all the way...and playstation ov er 64 but in this instance sony loose.

No need to go ninty crazy as the quality speaks for itself, selling on brand name alone isnt such a big deal.

This is the joy of forums, we can discuss (and argue) what we like, however I must take issue with the statement about "all incarnations of the playstation" sucking balls...
When the original ps1 came out (I bought mine on release day (that stung the old wage packet) there really was nothing to touch it, the pure joy of playing Demolition Derby blew me and I suspect quite a few other people, away. Graphics like that had not until that point been seen let alone been available to take home.
Yes I'm aware it was years and years ago but you had to be there to appreciate it.
BTW I'm not a "fanboy" of any console manufacturer. My xbox dumped on the ps2 which I have never touched since and the DS is a fantastic machine just on a different level for me as there's nothing "adult" about it - just a personal opinion. I also have or currently do own a gamecube - not enough games which is a shame, a dreamcast - ditto, oh basically if it was a console I managed one way or another to get one.
What ever happens I still think I'll return to the humble old wordprocessor known as the "PC"

i've not really owned a console, apart from a Gameboy which was a brick and still is. I've always enjoyed the ease of using the PC as a gaming unit and probably will untill tehy invent one which is as easy to use for people like me
i think the point is that we all have our own views and some of just think that all consoles suck

Just googled it, and came across:

an abandon ware game site. Am currently downloading Flashback and Jungle strike, another cracking game.

from those i've only played jungle strike..but golden axe just destroys that for thumb destroying gaming. but for multiplayer console games...pro evo wins ahnds down. playing with 7 of your friends with a projector is just the most fun you can have on a console imo.
especially when you swap peoples controllers around..the shouts of 'my guy's running the wrong way!!' and the own goals are just brilliant.

oh, changing the rules now are we, from best game EVER to best multiplayer console game.
Ok ok..
GoldenEye / Mario Kart / Bomberman (and that game where you are a wizard, elf, warrior etc, with treasure) > Pro Evo.
Ooo theres more too:
Super Sprint > Pro Evo as best multiplayer game ever (but its not a console game). Super sprint was awesome.

bah sucks to that...all of those (atleast the ones i know) have limited shelf life even for those that love the game...theres only so many ways you can play each mpa/game/complete whatever quest etc etc.
pro evo is limitless, its easily updated to add new players change teams, change kits, the AI is fantastic, the physics are fantastic, the only place its lacking is hte crowd animations and commentary...and we kind of do our own so its not a real loss. Of course its only football and those who aren't big fans will lose interest quicker...but that goes for all games...

for lords sake man its a football game, its as limited as they come!
the same damn thing happens every time, get ball, pass ball, dribble, shoot.
repeat till game ends.
id rather play bomberman, now that is a game that is truley limitless in its application.
