Ebay question - I not out of order here am I?

Bought something from ebay on Monday, paid extra for it for 24 hour parcelforce. Gets delivered today. I emailed the guy this morning asking where it was, he sends me a link back showing the tracking info. he sends it out Tuesday , via parcelforce 48 which is nearly 5 quid cheaper than I paid for. Should I email him and ask for the difference back, or just give him neutral feedback?

Ask for the difference back. If he refuses he didn't sell it as advertised and give him negative feedback. Thats what I'd do but I'm a git on ebay.

The guy has taken the piss though.

If you agreed the delivery charge with him before hand then he's done nothing wrong.

I paid £15 for next day, he then sends it out on a 2 day service. I think he has done the wrong thing, anyhow I emailed him and told him to pay me back the difference.

In that case he hasn't done what you agreed and you are right to give him negative feedback.

He stated 24 hr and sent it out 48 hr - that's not an innocent mistake, he knows what he has done and has tried to get extra money out of you under false pretences.

I'd ask for the difference back, if he refuses tell him you are likely to take it up with Ebay and Paypal as he has gone against his listing promises.
