WoW addiction

Post by Stabiloboss »

Haven't watched this with 'sound on' yet due to being stuck at work...

Looks like fun ;)

I always wear a corduroy suit
cause it's made of a hundred gutters

...bah, more of an Auntie's Bloomers man myself

Ah well, it wasn't so funny then!

A lesson learnt - if you don't have a deep voiceover type voice don't try to put one on. You'll sound like an @rse.

I think I`m the only person who just blew through that game.

I got my character to 60, within 4-8 weeks and got bored almost instantly - that and the fact the server seemed full of geeks who probably only talk about WOW in or out of game.

you needed to fin the right people, i'm in a guild full of 'casual gamers' as blizzard likes to call us. I don't play lots but we're all slowly getting to 60 and we're preping for ZG then eventually MC, all in our own time (no 4 hour raids 6 times a week) and it just fun.

Clair and I run a guild on Sunstrider of about 150 players with 20 level 60's and we also don't power game - in fact in the last week we have lost 4 players most of them 'power gamers' who really didn't fit in anyway.

Playing the game is almost second to joining up with a bunch of guild mates we like playing with and bumbling thru an instance dying every 20 minutes.

Me and Mackey are officers of a guild with ~ 60 lvl 60's (about 150 players). We're not hardcore either, we do two end game instances every week Wednesday and Sunday (4 hours) and I love it.

Upto Major Domo in MC now and it's a blast, nearly fully kitted up in Tier 1 as is Mackey! We're running ZG, AQ20 and Onyxia as well as MC, but BWL will be a way off.

When we joined the guild originally there were 12 of us, but have recruited only players we want and will fit in rather than those who are hardcore or have something to offer. In fact we've had to close the doors on recruitment recently, but its all good. We even have an alts guild too as the roster was becoming overfull!

So, to sum up I'm still addicted as I was 6 months ago and in fact the end game stuff is even better than the grinding upto 60!
