Just had a quick game on it. It's moved some of the buy options around a bit so it was a little confusing at first. I kept buying weapons instead of grens and flashes.

I popped on and noticed that too - I kept not getting armour cos it's moved it to 6 instead of 2!

No it dosen't.

bind "p" "buy ak47" will still buy an AK.

Buy scripts don't use the buy menu.

ok, ive finally got my computer back and online

But whats the deal with using the Beta? Does no one play standard CS Source anymore, and if so why not?

It's a beta for the new patch where guns go up/down in cost depending on how many times they're bought.

Heh - never used em. Ever.

It only takes a hour or two of playing to get used to whatever they do to the menus (for example there's no ammo to buy in CSS: Beta, it's included in the gun prices now).

Once I'm used to it I'm usually 'first out the barn doors'.

It's not the same as our old server though

Most of the admins are really good, but there's a couple who do nothing but moan and insult people.

Actually, it's quite a lot like our old server now I think about it.

well i still try and play as much as i can, if not on the IOA server then definately on the Red lion PUB server

I'm not a fan of RedLion, too much allspeak abuse and too many players for any tactics at all (I also get nasty choke constantly on it , for some reason).

Teeside Uni ones are quite good, and IOA is kind of dead one minute and booming the next (sunday was full, every weekday empty).

Any other server suggestions?

The teesside uni ones are my main playing ground. I dont go to the redlion as much now because of some changes that they use shagges up my system which is a bit of a pain in the neck.
