Bumping this as I bought this last night. Anyone else got it? First impressions are bloody amazing. A lot more realistic than DOD:S but not so you have to wade through pages of instructions to impede you playing. Very 'Enemy at the gates' style maps on some levels too.

All in all very, very good start. Looking forward to givcing it a proper bash. Also incredible that it's got me playing FPS again after getting bored of BF2 & CS

Just bought it myself and my god its a cracker - I'm surprised to learn just how long its been around, in one form or another and finally explains how EA produced such a quality game in BF1942 (before they ruined it with patch changes).

It's easy - they nicked it from Red Orchestra then made a mess of it once they started adding their own "features".

Bloody brilliant game... I've not felt this excited when playing since CS / BF1942 early days! Really really good.

Who else has it? come on, for 10 quid on steam its WELL worth it and maybe will get us all back together again, as its VERY tactics based, you have no option with this one.

come on then Rascal, are you still liking it?

It's growing on me every day and getting a bit frightening really!

I play on the Splat server - good teamplay there and great maps.

Oh its great! But don't expect it to grab you straight away - its quite a learning curve to start with (Or it was for me) , its really easy to control, but the tactics (like taking an MG position etc) are tough.

If any of you guys are still playing this you are more than welcome to play on the MoX server (just do a search for MoX and you will find it). We have a 50 man server that fills up nicely every day, and there is a good spread of skill levels on there.

Join us, you'll love it.

maybe.

Will do mate.

Just as soon as I complete HL2 Episode 2, get bored of Team Fortress 2 and manage to prise myself away from Warhawk on the PS3.

RO is a classic for me though and I always end up going back.
