righto jst to start sput off for the fun map thingy incase he dont know how to.

game_player_equip

link it to a trigger multiple.

set the flags of the equipper to USE ONLY.

add the weapons....hey presto, whenever someone steps through the trigger they get the guns.

Don't forget to disallow buying with an info_map_parameters entity, and use a game_weaponstrip (or whatever it is) to get rid of the default pistol :) (Which could either be done at the same time or, better, at the start of the round).

i've made maps using just the player equip and it only equipped what i inputted into the parameters of what to equip me with :nuts: . Shame i forgot to ask Matt to save all of my hammer files as the fdg i used was great and far more advanced than the advanced fdg file for cs as it allowed parts of HL to run in CS so you could create replicating machines that would make guns and stuff :nuts: . Well if i can get everything i need when i've finished updating this pc i'll be able to make maps without CS (as it still wouldn't run!!) but it would mean that i could concentrate on making maps for the masses :clap:

know naff all about making maps, or any of this malarkey but.... as for nade fun type maps.. I reckon the pistol just becomes a hinderance, and if possible in your all new improved fun_allinone maps could be done away with, if you can do this,

just my tuppence worth ..

i asgree...hence when i made j_nadefields (laggy as hell tbh....if over 2 ppl on i cant see the nades r explosions...if over 4 i lag out :nuts: ) i removed the pistols altogether.

when we (i assume team effort?) finish it im sure there will be no pistols in nades area.
