Whats happened to this map Sput - did it get finished? Or are you just concentrating on officestorm 2 now?

I got bored with it and gave up :D Then the other week I had a boring evening so made a huge stack of CDs to my right and beer and mini-eggs to my left and spent a few hours seeing how far I could get into a new map as_officestorm2 :nuts: (Seeing as the original Officestorm now seems to be my most popular, although it was Tain when I started the sequel to that :D ) As I was pleased with the results, and IMO had a reasonably nice texture set and plan laid out, I thought I'd finish it as soon as possible :)

But... OS2 is pretty much 50% of my ideas for Spent, and includes about 50% of the architecture, as well as modified versions of the textures. (Combined with a few bits from Officestorm, and Officestorm's overall plan). So there'd be no point making a cs_spent, as it's been combined into this other map :)

I was also having R_speed problems with cs_spent and dreaded another de_slit that looked reasonably nice but that didn't matter cos noone played it; wheras Offiecestorm2 will *hopefully* look good, play reasonably well and not be much more laggy than the original. I hope :?

So yet again I've failed in making a hostage map :D I'll leave them to Winter ;)

Hopefully as_officestorm2 will be my last map :indiff: <giggle>
