This weeks debate the Devil is he all bad ?

Should there be a bit less of the "GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN" and a bit more of the "come in me old mate and have a cup of tea?"

Since watching the South Park movie, I haven't been able to take him seriously...

Well, supposedly he used to be an angel, so how could he be all bad?

He's probably got a poor publicist, but he's also got all the good musicians, so I know who'd I'd side with.

Dont personally believe in the whole heaven hell thing but i heard he was a devil who tried to overthrow god<lol, and then cast down out of heaven with his cohorts making his punishment having seen the joys of heaven and lost them. ALthough if god beat him surely it means that god > satan

Wrong accualy, lucifer was another angel that fell. he was 'the brightest star' who fell after losing a war in heven. Satan is another enity altogether. Its a comman mistake brought about by a mis-translation\mis-reading of the bible

Personaly i think satan is already here, having a cup of tea and eating the biscuts. And it suits me fine

"apparently" when the world is meant to end. the sky will randomly turn bright red and the devil will come to earth for 6(or 7) days. then after that "GOD" comes to the earth and fights him for a while. i want front row seets !

I think it will be a very quick fight since "GOD" is supposed to be all powerful and, well, the "Devil" isnt...

"Supposed" being the operative word here.
If he's all powerful, how come he never noticed the devil being naughty before he chucked him out? In fact, how come he didn't know that the devil was planning to be naughty?

This god fella sounds less all-knowing than Santa - he KNOWS if you've been naughty or nice, and at least Santa brings presents.
