i'm killing things round there atm, some fairly good quest rewards and some easy money in that area.

Do you guys/gals still play on frostwhisper or have you stopped playing this now?

I have finally got the ability to play something more taxing than minesweeper on my pc, and wanted to have another bash at this.

I still play now and then. Mrs W & Mackey play a lot and have a couple of characters - iirc they're still on Frostwhisper (Horde).

The guild is at a stage where the roster is pretty much full (and closed to any more of certain classes) but all apps will be considered on a case by case basis (basically the guild can pick and choose from the apps atm)

(oh and get some babycham for one of the officers he likes that sort of thing ;))

*edit* took boss 4 and 5 tonight and got our first legendary drop :D

Do you want to have a life?

Yes (don't buy it)/No (Yes, it's great) ;)

The amount of game content is pretty staggering, and being a blizzard game the quality is top notch imho.

Dunno if you still get a free extra 10 day trial account with a retail box? Ask your mate for this, you will see enough to make a decision on.

I am sure you can still download the client from the internet and get a 10 day code from the web site.

It is a frankly amazing game that I am still very deeply into playing.

Just don't expect to play anything else once you get hooked.

Aye these games are addictive though, studies have actually been done that link it to the primal urge of hunter gathering.

That said (no-one think I'm being elitist though) I've played MMORPG's for years and years and WOW only held me for a year or so , making me a few hundred quid it must be said.

I'm excited about the new Mythic game - Warhammer, as Dark ages of camelot, was for me , the best MMORPG so far (WoW actually copied the class system almost exactly!).

So yeah, try it - but a MMORPG is very much a dangerous thing!

I still play WoW with Wintermute, Badgers and Mackey, so if you fancy a go we can show you the basics.

We are on Frostwhisper server horde side, and yes, it's very addictive!

Got it yesterday :) whooooo

After installing 4.2 Billion patches I finally got on lastnight at 11pm, had a look and went to bed.

I am on the Bloodhoof server at the moment.

Was totally unsure what to be :/, chose to be a dark elf (druid) in the end, still not sure what the hell im doing though LOL! Kept getting killed by spiders and big frikking white yetti things lastnight, they dont give you chance to escape, I died like 6 times in a row!! WTF! I couldnt even run off (i turned the game off at this point), hope im not stuck at the same point later! :x

Yeah the trick is never take on more than one thing at once, unless you have some crowd control skills, or are much better than them.
Also watch your back, as monsters can respawn behind you and join in to give you a headache.

Have fun.

Aye that will be World of warcraft. If you haven't already seen it there's an excellent South park episode on it, that you will see the funny side of now... I'll dig it out if you haven't.

Can someone please let me know what she said?

Really I dont understand loads of stuff still, I am at 16 lvl. Just started to tailor/enchant stuff.

2 questions

1) What is SSC
2) What is an instance

Seems to be taking ages :x

Serpent Shrine Cavern - its a 25 man dungeon that takes ALOT of teamwork to down the monsters and bosses in there.

Don't worry about it - its a level 70 instance and you need to have done Karazhan before going in there (a 10 man dungeon).

An instance is a copy of a dungeon that only you and your party exist within. It allows you to kill monsters unhindered. However the monsters are harder to kill as they have more hit points but they have a higher chance of dropping green/blue or purple items.

Ooops sorry. I forget about the slang sometimes. You'll be doing instances soon at your level though Worm, albeit 5-mans.

Deadmines (in Westfall)
Stockades (in Stormwind)

You'll see people asking for them in the general chat channels (LFG = Looking for group)

They are fun, will test your skills and normally drop good loot.

Good luck!
