DIPLOMACY.

At the minute i am recieving 10 support points a day from my group of 7, if my 2 accounts without it research it i will get 12 points, and even if all you lot research it we will still not get enough for an additional unit.

so my question - is it worth me busting a gut to get this or can i start playing properly?

yeah, you are right, there will be wasted support points. If everyone is getting their 3 units a day (8 support points) then that is fine. I got all my accounts to diplomacy early on so I kept you all in support points

someone attacked me this morning and I killed 3 of his soldiers and 2 ballistas, 5 kills

over 150K now

no, just barracks. Went attacking everyone above me for MXP and was killing archers for fun, my MXP=88 so one ballista has an attack power of 3168. I am now on 1144 points so it is getting harder to kill people.

Woooohoooo, just got me catapults so i thought i would share it with ya all

they have (for me anyway) 14k attack!

also, on the technology tree.... battering ram is showing

I changed tact, instead of going for catapults straight away I went for techs that give me more units a day. Didn't see the point of getting even stronger when no one above me is playing defensive and I get all the gold I need with 1 turn attacks as it is.

A defensive strategy in this age is suicide, they need to balance it out more.

yep, my point exactly, the thing is tho bourne, you are already above me in the mxp stakes and i want to catch up, so atm i have around 1mil attack, soon as i get battering ram i will be looking at around 2 mil, then maybe i can attempt for mxp..

BTW, have you checked out the top 10 - they all have castles and fortified walls

but there is no one to attack to get mxp points. The only people with any defence are the top 5 and they are untouchable.

think we need to trade some mxp between us

yeah, i was thinking that - tbh my defensive account - turned offensive 'CVRich' is dead in the water and too far behind to catch up, but my other 2 accounts are blossoming greatly

maybe soon mxp trading will be needed

I get the best messages. Tonight I got his after hitting someone but getting nothing and after looking back at my attacks I got a 'fantastic' 578 from him yesterday

Anyway I responded asking what his problem was as its not like I raped him for gold ffs. I also pointed out that he may want to check guild statuses before telling all and sundry he was going to 'get the lads in'

Now dont get me wrong but I'm fairly sure that he was the one that started making pathetic threats and brought up the whole guild thing. Think I'll stick him for an 8 attack just for some more conversation. No-one ever sends me messages and its getting lonely.
