anyone know how to make these?

as in u can walk on it....but nades/gunshots etc are unaffected by it....

ive tried opening bsp in editor and it jst says its a func_illusionary with no special properties :?

you need a texture from the halflife wad called clip i believe. This allows things thru it but not people

Yep, it'll be a func_illusionary over a clip brush (being a brush covered in the clip texture, so that it doesn't get vissed but does generate clip nodes so can be walked on).

okie doke, will try check this out :thumbs:

btw....looking at the new quark 6.4....when i select a func_illusionary the skin type is no longer empty/volumetric/none....its now water/solid/slime/lava/someother things.....u get that in hammer or do u jst have empty/volumetric.....or neither? :shrug:

and yes the bsp does use clip texture so thats prob right (jst checked now) , ty :thumbs:

I've never fiddled with those options, just left them as the default :? The only non-solid contents I've ever used have been water and ladder, which have their own entities, so I've never played with it - but yes Hammer gives options like water, slime etc.
