God, 12 - pay someone else to do them!

I did our front door years ago, it took me bleedin ages, I'd never bother again.

Chiseling out all the holes for the locks etc took me an awful long time.

Electric planer was fun tho :D

Tell me about it :x

Ive actually got 14 doors to hang in total :? , but the mrs isnt sure what door she wants from the lounge to the dining room, and Porch to Hallway.
Ill do a door a night, did one lastnight.

Im using a router & an electric plane, so its not so bad really.

Ive got a busy year ahead of me.

DIY Job list for 2006:
Conservatory
Rear Windows
French doors
Decking.

Just finished building a new porch on the front of the house, which im quite chuffed with.

Oh well,

Crikey - you are mr DIY aren't you? I fitted a hardwood front door last year. That was stressful enough.

who can't make up her mind if she is German, Austrian or American.
But still good for the chav of the living dead and the scene where the saw goes where it shouldn't. I recomend it for one of the most goriest horror scenes that i can think of in a recent film

SAW just sucked and not seen SAW2

Hooray, someone else who thinks it was rubbish.
All I see is praise for this contrived piece of trash. It had a nice setup, but was even more full of "Oh come on!" moments than the average episode of 24 (which I love, but at least it knows it's being unreal).

Anyone seen Undead? Made by a couple of Australian brothers, funded by themselves. Took them 15 years.

It has to be the Braindead of the new century. So many gory, laugh out loud moments.

I don't understand the appeal of gore movies. I've seen quite a few. Most are just ridiculous some are genuinely gory in a "why would they even think I'd like to see that" sort of way.

Why are people fascinated by gore?

I like gore, but well done stuff, the Bad Taste/Braindead gore movies are funny to watch, but like Alex says, the scene where it gets "medical" (not to spoil it for others) is well rough, sheer brilliance :)

Oh and my doors do look nice :)

lmao, from doors to wooden films. SAW was just a film where the plot was poor and missed some fairly good ideas, where as Creep i watched in my film studies class sitting next to a girl who hates horror and gore all together and she only managed to look up at the only bit in the film that get clinical ;)

I've seen Saw2 and not seen Saw and I didn't think Saw2 was that bad.
It had me squirming for most of the film due to the grisly booby-traps and horrific deaths - which is more than any modern horror has managed to do.
It has the obligatory plot-twist at the end too, although again this is less obvious and makes more sense than many.
Not great by any stretch of the imagination, but better than I was expecting.

...oh and the last door I tried to hang ended up as splinters in our back garden.

I was crying at the zombie with the shovel in his head getting caught on the low ceiling. 15 years? cripes, very well done.

I thought Saw was good, then terribly bad half way through, then good again until the blonde dude realised he was in a shit film and decided to ham it up terribly.

I've seen Creep and honestly cannot remeber this saw scene, must have been a well forgettable film, It started badly for me when the dude got on the tube with her, no way could he have followed her from the party.

Anyone seen Versus? the premise of it had me wetting myself in excitement - zombie yakuza's and it was awful. First watch was alright second watch I turned off in boredom
